What's a Wreck?
What's a Wreck?
A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.
Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

order
Where's the book?
We don’t have any copies of Cake Wrecks for sale here, autographed or otherwise. We decided the shipping and handling costs would be too high to make it worth your while. So instead, buy your copies locally or online and then order personalized bookplates: it’s cheaper, easier, and I think even looks a bit nicer.
Ordering Info
Payments must be made through Paypal, which accepts all major credit cards. Sorry, but that means no checks or MOs or barter-based chickens.
We ship everything first class USPS, and will do our best to have your package in the mail within 2 days of your order.

Wish I could make it to the tour.
Make sure you have extra fun for those of us that can't make it!
I read the article on The Daily Beast. My boyfriend is a baker...I'm sure he could concoct a kitty litter cake!
Looking forward to the tour!
Don't Panic? Well, there's an idea. Any Douglas Adams-themed cakes out there?
i just ordered your book - i can't wait, Jen. i wish Minneapolis/St Paul was on your tour schedule, as i'd love to meet the woman who brings so many giggles in such tough times. Appreciate what you do! Best wishes with the book!
I still say, "Boo to the book tour if you even come to Southern California!"
So there.
Sorry Valerya,
Not our choice, believe me.
john
Jen and John - see if your agent will book you in Tampa (east Tampa/Brandon specifically lol) - since you're so close you don't even have to fly! :) Would love to meet you guys but not sure I can make it to WP on the 22nd!
Thanks for the update! Already canceled my online preorder - looked like I'd get it fast from the store.
Cant wait 'til the end of the month!
Thanks for letting us know. I got the email and was a bit concerned. Looking forward to seeing you in Seattle!
Douglas Adams theme please!
Also, so excited to see you in Orlando!
I can't wait to read it! So excited... now if only I could convince my hubby that we have to drive to Chicago. :)
Which stores will be carrying the book, please Say CANADA! home of the original wreck?
Des Moines would really like to see you! Maybe next time?
What about South Carolina. Here in greenwood we have a local book store uptown called MCaslan's and they always have book authors coming by to sign books. Not obscure ppl either! I wish you would come to our lil o town
Id settle if you came to Columbia, the capital of SC
phew! what a relief! i dutifully went into my local barnes & noble on the 4th to buy my copy, when to my dismay i discovered that they didn't have it in yet! so my name got put on one for when they do come in. can't wait to read it!
I join MN me in stating that a Twin Cities stop would have been great. *sigh*
Maybe next time.
What?!? No tour stop in Phoenix? Bummer! http://blog.sweetservices.com/sweetscandyblog/
Thanks for the news. I bought 3 on Amazon a month ago. Amazon said October delivery. I have been searching other book sellers with no luck.
If you tour within 2 or 3 maybe even 4 hours of North AL I will come.
Thanks for the laughs.
Blake
Dont Panic
