Uh, you DID know there's a book, right? Because you've already pre-ordered your copy like a good Wrecky henchperson, right?
Well, even if you haven't purchased a copy I hope you'll come say hello (and then purchase a copy). It's not that I'd mind eating all the cake myself (did I mention there'll be cake?) and doing the Q&A with just John (and that John's coming?), but frankly, Andrews McMeel might. So please, block out these dates on your calenders now, and then buy any necessary plane tickets to get you there, because with today's plethora of transportation options I am NOT accepting "it was too far away" as an excuse. (Hey, if I have to get on a plane...)
Ok, ok, just to sweeten the deal further: How about a contest? And even better, one in which no talent is required and you get to eat the results?
Yep, in a nutshell: just make a Wreckplica of your choice...but the catch is, it has to be on a cupcake. This is both to keep the entries a manageable size, and (bonus!) just to screw with you. The crowd favorites will win fabulous prizes, which admittedly I haven't decided on yet, but believe me, they're going to be fabulous.
There will also be cake for everyone (bakers, if you'd like to volunteer your services in your city, let me know), so rest assured you will be leaving with a sugar buzz even if you don't bring an entry - but you still should anyway, so that those of us with icing in our hair don't mock you.
Ok, now that I have you positively salivating with anticipation, here's the schedule:
Borders (Winter Park)
Tuesday, September 22, 5PM
(NOTE: This will be my first public appearance EVER. So let me apologize in advance for doing the entire Q&A with a barf bag strategically placed on my lap.)

Barnes & Noble
Tuesday, October 6, 7:00 pm
New York, NY
Barnes & Noble (Greenwich Village)
Wednesday, October 7, 7:30 pm
I should mention that this tour started out with only 5 stops, and has grown to what it is now partly due to your exuberant responses on Facebook. So if you feel that some crime of omission has been committed here, by all means, tell me in the comments.
I'd also like to apologize to my international readers, since as you can see this tour is limited to the U.S. Given my dislike of flying in general - and long flights in particular - I have a hard time feeling TOO bad about this, but I am sorry I won't be able to meet all you lovelies in Australia, the UK, Japan, etc. We may try to stream one of the Q&A sessions online for you, so stay tuned.
And finally, if you think you might join us at one of the venues above, please RSVP - even if it's with a "maybe" - by clicking on the city name. This will help us figure out how much cake, prizes, chairs, etc. to have on hand.
Thanks, guys! I look forward to meeting many of you soon!
UPDATE: WOW. Thanks for the frenzied amount of feedback - I knew I could count on you Wreckies to speak your mind! Just remember that *I* am not the one booking this tour, so no accusing me of hatin' on the southeast/northeast, Ok? And rest assured, the powers-that-be are reading your comments here, so I for one have faith that - no matter what happens - I can always blame the outcome on them. :D

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 827 Newer› Newest»Ok, you definitely need somewhere in the middle of the south where all us southern fans can come meet our favorite blogger! However... After skimming through the comments I must say that I have to put in a vote for Alaska - I mean seriously, they must get left out all the time! :)
I want to vote for Atlanta, too! We love you here!!!
can't wait to meet you in NYC! its right up the street from my apt, but I'd totally trek to an outer borough too :)
Jen - the closest venue to me is San Francisco - STILL a 6 hour drive - but I can't RSVP because it isn't "clickable". If the event is on the Sunday and not too late in the day I can make it - would you please put me on the list?
I agree with the south comments! Come on, just because Orlando is "close" doesn't mean I can drive 10 hours (because planes have been banned in the family)!!! Tennessee, North Carolina, something to represent!!! Please!
Nashville? Please???
Yet another vote for Boston or at least New England! If you're not willing to fly or drive from NYC, you can take the train or the bus (including the cheap but always interesting Chinatown bus).
If you can't get into one of the bookstores in Cambridge, please try Brookline Booksmith, an excellent independent bookstore with a quirky sense of humor that'd be right up your ally. If there's enough demand, maybe you could even do your talk at the historic Coolidge Corner Theater.
Word verification: pudpari. I'm looking forward to the pudpari of new wrecks in the book!
What about Arizona? Phoenix loves you too! Plus the weather here will be extra nice that time of year.
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada isn't that far from New York. I doubt I can convince my husband to go to New York, he just doesn't understand these things. Next book you HAVE to come to Canada!
thepiercedgourmet.blogspot.com
Will you let us know when San Francisco becomes an option. I want to come. You are hilarious!
Crime of omission!!!! Camp Hill, Pa is on your way from Bethesda to New York. So come visit us on your way! I made you a map so you don't get lost
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=105035447312217647763.00047002286fe96df3d00&z=8
See you in October!
um, helloooo, Arizona? We've made it REAL hot just for YOU!!!
Ohio is definitely a wonderful place to have a book signing... especially DAYTON, OH!! We'd love to have you.
Crime of omission: Camp Hill, PA!! It's on your way from Bethesda to New York. I made you a map so you don't get lost :)

Atlanta! Please!
BOOOO!!! You are not coming to Atlanta, GA! I might have to boycott you for a day or two (and then come come back and read all the posts I missed in one go) :)
I'm just saying --
PHILADELPHIA is where it's at. If I were greedier, I'd say Delaware (but seriously, who comes to Delaware?)
What about Motown? Come to Detroit!!!
I am sure this has been said but I am not going to read all 217 comments. So why aren't you making a trip to LA. Come on...we have Disneyland!!
Could you come closer to St. Louis Missouri?
I would love to be able to come!
Glad to see you're coming to Seattle!
I don't normally post comments on here, but with all the "I promise there will be cake" comments in this post, I have to ask....are you familiar with the video game Portal?
hey, how 'bout detroit!!!
Little Rock, Memphis, or Nashville, please!!! We have BBQ--and you can visit Graceland! (and the other commenters are right, Texas and Florida do NOT count as 'The South'!)
Toronto is only like a 45 minute flight from New York!! Come visit your firends up north, eh?!
Here's another request for you to visit Atlanta!
OK, I've never commented on any blog anywhere ever before, but I have been following Cake Wrecks basically since its inception.
Please please please "PLEASE" come to Boston! I will most lovingly make a Wreckplica for the occasion.
Any way you could stop near Indianapolis? Carmel, IN, for instance?
Las Vegas is a really good place for book tours.
We love books, cakes, and are generally wrecky in nature.
Not even a mention of Canada? Not too far from Seattle.....you could drive from there insted of getting on another plane.
Oh well, I will still be a loyal follower, even if you can't come. I need my morning pick up.
I am SO coming to see you in Seattle! Can't wait!!! :D
PS My WV is prowreck.....fitting for this site!
Yeah...what the heck? You're all around Georgia but skip Atlanta! Come on, over. We'll show you what true wrecky Southern Hospitality is all about.
Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh loves you, and has lots and lots of lovely bakeries!
Atlanta. We love to eat and we love guests. Why not?
ORLANDO!!!!!?????!!!!! YES! I think I just wet myself.
I am so UTTERLY excited about seeing you in San Francisco! It must happen!!! I'm already planning my cupcake :D
Come to Philadelphia! :D We love you here too!
-Cyg
Seriously no Los Angeles stop? We're the second largest city in the US! Hello! We love cake here too! :(
I so wish you would come to South Florida - West Palm Beach or Ft Lauderdale. Orlando is a drive for me - maybe stop by on the way back???
I'm so excited you are coming to Kansas City! As one commenter reported, the city is Overland Park, but the location is at Oak Park Mall, which i down the street from where I live. Silly misunderstanding. Moreover, I wanted to comment on the fact that it is Kansas City, Kansas and not Missouri. There is a slight difference. :)
Des Moines, iowa, loves you, and we promise tpo bring tons of wreck-y cupcakes if you will come and visit us! Please? Oh, wait... "Please"? ; )
I'd love to come to your appearance in San Francisco. Now, which wreck to wreck-plicate . . . decisions, decisions!
WV: supross--when you can't decide whether a wreck is just gross or super-gross
Your So close to Vancouver, when your in Seattle , you dont have to fly to get here.. Please come to Vancouver. We have cake here too.
My, the south is whiney with their "Orlando doesn't count" business. They've already got the best climates in the country and they still want more.
Another poster was right... Michigan needs the love. And we're trend-setters! We went to a recession long before the rest of the nation. Florida is trying to keep up and California is making a decent effort but we're at the bottom of the heap, baby!
Um, Boston? Hello? Pretty major city, I should say.
I'll never understand why people tour in Denver and not Phoenix. We're the 5th largest city and we're left off your tour. *pout*
OOH OOH!! I'll see you in San Francisco, Jen!!! Yeeeehaaaawww!
(I'm excited)
Man, I wish you could hit up Atlanta! I'd love to met the mistress behind the Wreckness!
Please oh please oh *PLEASE* come to Ohio! Or even lower Michigan if you must. ;) I'd really love to meet you and get a suger buzz as an added bonus. :D
YAY! I'm signed up for Dallas and I plan to drag everyone I can with me!
WV: scrope-I am NOT going there!
*Bangs head on keyboard*(..ouch)NO ONE EVER comes to Oklahoma. Why is that? We like concerts..famous people and MOST of all Cake(Wrecks that is)! Are our penchant for double negatives and accents too much for everyone?? *Sigh*
It's in between Kansas and Texas..
:(
ATX I'll be there!
Yea! I am driving in to Kansas City- already wrote it on the calendar. I am so going to be there and bringing a cupcake. Now to choose a wreck......
Somewhere in Alabama please!!! Birmingham is a big city or even Atlanta.
How about a stop in Massachusetts? Worcester, MA is right in the middle and there is a Barnes & Noble or a Border's right in Marlborough or Shrewsbury (both real close to Worcester).
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!
No Los Angeles, or even San Diego? Las Vegas? That would at least give people extra reason to travel.
Good luck with the tour!
Well, this seems like the place for requests. And my request goes for Wichita, KS... It would be handier having a 1 hour drive as apposed to a 3 hour drive, considering the gas prices... just a thought.
I just emailed Changing Hands in Tempe, Arizona and told them they should book you!
Philadelphia will miss you :(
Ooooooh. I know I'm just a lurker so you'll have no idea who I am, and I almost never go to signings. But THIS is one I want to go to. I marked it on my calendar and signed me & hubby up as maybes for Bethesda. :D Anyway, I happen to be a book reviewer as well as a fan, so I'll have to review my copy after I pick it up there & get it signed. ;)
Oh please please please come to Salt Lake City, Utah! it's right in between California and Colorado. Soooooo many people would come I can guarantee it! I love Cake Wrecks and start my day with it every day!PLEASE!
I'll be at BookPeople in Austin! Woohoo!
It looks like you have Friday Oct. 2nd open before Dallas and Austin....do you know what's between Dallas and Austin???? Houston!! I guess it's not that big of a deal to drive up to Austin but Houston really is a great place!
Um, ATLANTA?!?! Hellooooo?
Word verification: angst
Why yes, I'm feeling some.
Jen,
I'm very sad that we will miss you here in the Los Angeles area.
You make me laugh EVERY single day. I've lost count as to the number of people who I've gotten "hooked" on your blog.
Have a great tour!!!!
Jax
Sweet! Us Orlando people are thrilled to see you. :)
congrats on the book!
NEW MEXICO! NEW MEXICO! Come to NEW MEXICO! Preferably Albuquerque. That would be awesome!
Minneapolis is such a short hop from Chicago! Can't you come here too? Please, pretty please with poo-colored icing globs on top?
-Sandy
Hey, you don't have to fly to the UK you know! Like you said, there's all sort of options... well, okay, there's two options and one of them is by boat!
So, see you in Derby (or at least, Birmingham 'cos surely you'll want to do the second largest city as well as London?) soon!!! *g*
Jem, you missed MINNEAPOLIS! It's the home of Betty Crocker and the Pillsbury BakeOff.
Boo
All right! Your first stop is the Borders I go to all the time. I am definitely going to be there!
No stops in Georgia OR Tennessee?!? Raspberries!!! :( Atlanta, GA or Chattanooga, TN are both hotbeds of culinary (and wrecktastic) activity and should not be left out!!
WV: abirkin - I would stand out in the cold wearing nothing but abirkin to see you!! ;-)
-Jenniffer
Holey Carp! You're coming to my city on my birthday! I may just have to make a trip out just for that. Plus I do have a perfect cupcake wreck idea, but implementation could be difficult. Good thing I've got time to think!
You must come to Boston! Just a short hop from NYC! Your trip could not be complete without a stop in the Bay State, and who could say no to New England in the fall????
I'm with Josh -- there are no stops in the southeast at all! (Orlando is not in the southeast.)
I'm sure plenty of people would love to see you in Atlanta. I would also be happy to drive to Huntsville or Chattanooga on a weekend, and I know who I'd bring along.
On further self-serving consideration, I also think that Atlanta is a big oversight because you often feature antiwrecks from Highland Bakery.
This is the first time I've ever commented, though I'm a HUGE fan. But... WHY CAN'T YOU COME TO CANADA? Admittedly I'm a hop, skip and a jump away from Seattle, but really.
Just squeeze Vancouver (BC) in ,at least. Or do a whole Canadian tour! Yeah. You're gonna have FREE CAKE, I guarantee you a good turnout here on the tundra.
Come to the LA area! If you're already in San Fran, it's just a 45 minute flight. Vroman's, Diesel Brentwood, or BookSoup would be great venues!
L.A., L.A., L.A.!!
Please?
If you hit the major Cities that have big boards on "chowhound", you'll attract an avalanche of Foodies and sell an absolute flurry of books.
Chowhound people have absolute WARS about cupcakes. And for some reason PAstrami and Hamburgers. And Mission Burritos. I guess we have a lot of free time.
L.A. is a Major Chowhound city.
Holy complaining, people. If Jen travels to EVERY ONE of your neighborhoods how is she going to have the time to make us laugh maniacally until our co-workers glare at us each morning? Sheesh.
Jen! I need you to come to the South! I'm from SC, but I don't expect you to come here...so Charlotte or Atlanta will do =) Please?
You should come to Cleveland or Toledo, OH. My boyfriend and I would LOVE to meet you! And eat cake. Definately eat cake ;)
-Casey
Aww man. Why not Orange County, California. I promise it's way better than San Fran ;)My mom is so not going to drive 8 hours for me to meet Jen. Wish I could go!
Tennessee. Tennessee. Tennessee. Tennessee. Tennessee.
Please don't judge me. I stutter. When I type.
http://www.visitmusiccity.com/visitors/
What is that! Odd. I wouldn't click it. It's probably a virus. Or online survey.
Sweet. You are coming to my city on my birthday. If that's not an excuse to come eat cake I don't know what is.
In the words of my forefathers (apparently using the term 'forefather' is sexist, but since I'm neither a father nor a mother, nor a fore, I think I'm allowed) and every person ever at world junior or olympic hockey game... CAN-A-DA... CAN-A-DA... CAN-A-DA! Plus I want to make a cupcake. Cancel that... I want to make a cupcake and eat the remaining 23!!!!
Congrats on the book, Jen. You deserve every succsex. ;) I'm so proud (tear trickles down cheek...)
Phoenix
uh... ATLANTA!!! Hello!!! (when in doubt, scream it)
Too bad you're not coming to Philly, I would so go!
Los Angeles!! really? You're not stopping in Los Angeles? How can this be a ligitimate "Book Tour" without a stop to Los Angeles? Hello!?!?!?!!? Please please please come here. Please please!!! With icing on top?
So Jen, seriously, please come to Los Angeles. Thank you for your time =)
~Christina
I am so there in Bethesda.
I don't think just a poo swirl cupcake is going to cut it for this contest, so I'm going to have to get creative!
You just happen to be coming to my town on my birthday. w00t!
NOTHING IN UTAH??? nothing even close to utah! i'd settle for salt lake city:) how did you pick the cities that are scheduled? just curious!
Yay! You're coming to KC! (Well, Overland Park, but close enough). I'm totally going to try to be there.
You need to come to Atlanta!
I read all the comments posted by 1300h ET; I want to add my request to the 10 or so that mention Ohio & southern Michigan as potential stops on your Cake-Wrecky tour. Maybe the publisher will fund you for a second trip, now that you can give them this list of suggestion?
Peggy, RN
faithful reader, long-time lurker
Hey! One near me!
Maybe I'll see if I can stop by.
Aww come to Saint Louis, it will rock :D Kansas City is lameeee
Please, please, please schedule the San Francisco visit for Sunday 9/27, not Monday 9/28!
You go "gril"! I can understand that going overseas can be especially long, but you know, Canada is not that far!! Specifically Montreal in my case, it's barely longer than going to New York or Chicago from Texas, if you change your mind. Have a good one!
Raleigh! Charlotte! You should really come experience our Carolina blue skies and southern hospitality!
What - no Arizona? But we're the wreckiest cake capital of the world!
Yes we are.
You've never heard of that you say? Huh. I could have sworn we were.
Well, next time I hope! Have a great time!
Woo hoo! You're coming to Portland! You are going to love Powell's Books -- be prepared to spend some time wandering around the store and taking home some books. Since I almost failed Home Ec over a bad frosting job, maybe I should bring a cupcake or two....
Toronto! Toronto! Include Toronto on your tour!
Come to North Carolina....PUHLEEEZE!
Charlotte, NC would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have you!!!!
no, seriously, what about philadelphia?
i'll ponder the thought of making a 6 hour drive up to san francisco, UNLESS your publishing company would ponder the thought of booking you a 1-hour plane ride from San Fran to the smog-choked celebrity cupcake crazed capital known as Los Angeles.
BOSTON! (or north of Boston!) I mean, half that city is about cake!
What? No Chattanooga, TN? We are the wreckiest place in the world!!
Los Angeles, please?
SAN DIEGO!! Hell, I'll even drive to Hell-A if you would just come further south then San Francisco.
We like cake in Los Angeles too!
Any stops in Ohio in the works? Have to stop in the heartland... try Books & Co. here. My favorite place for book signings. :)
The tour sounds awesome!
Too bad I'm Canadian.
*sob*
Come to NASHVILLE! Davis-Kidd Bookstore would be a perfect place to visit!
Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston Boston.
Please. And thank you.
Pittsburgh would LOVE to have you!!!
Southern California gets nothing? My falkersatherhood is not so happy.
This probably isn't helpful, but, Andrews-McMeel did this with another favorite author of mine--they look at a map and think Petaluma is right there near San Francisco. But. A lot of the Bay Area population lives in a straight line south of San Fran, meaning we'd have to drive through the entire city to get there--we're talking 60 miles for me but three hours each way. Ouch.
Enough of that--congratulations on your book tour! Have a wonderful time!
Canada does not require flying, and Vancouver is only a 2-hour drive away from Seattle.... hint hint.
YES! Orlando! We will be there? Need a Wreck? I can totally wreck something up. :)
What about New England?
I don't know if I will be able to make one of these stops SF is closest, but... I have pre ordered my book so I am anxiously awaiting its arrival!
I work in the "mall" that houses Third Place Books (Seattle). Out of all the book people that have come since I have worked there, you are the first I would go see. However, I will already have left for college in California! Are you sure you can't come in August?! Or switch your San Francisco date to LA? :) Hehe...
Nash-VILLE! Nash-VILLE! Nash-VILLE!
Looks like I'm not alone in wanting you to come here, either!
Well, since I won't be able to do it, I think someone should do a meta-CCC-wreck. Wrecky CCC design on a single cupcake.
Boston, please!
Southern California!!!!!! You can't miss out on the glitz and glam of LA. I'll even bring a cake.
I never comment, but, BOSTON!
Please please please come to Los Angeles! Either San Diego or Las Vegas would work, too. Road trip! Road trip!
No love for Las Vegas/Henderson? I know you would do well here.
Just an FYI, book tour stops are usually decided by publishers. They're expensive. Like insanely so. Most books today don't get a tour at all. A sad publishing fact, but true. And if you do get a tour, you get one with like 3 cities. Literally. (Haha.)
Here's a really good post about it. (not my own, just one I found on the web) http://lit.newcity.com/2009/07/28/book-partying-with-author-tours-waning-we-get-a-read-on-the-state-of-literary-events-in-chicago/
Congrats on the tour, but really? You're going to SF and you're not stopping in LA? How will you take meetings to pitch Cake Wrecks the Movie? But seriously, come to LA.
How exciting to have a book tour!
I'm sure that compliments are getting old by now, but congratulations on all of your success! Cake Wrecks is hilarious and I wish you much luck on book sales!
Orlando regrets that it does not have a proud, independent bookseller of sufficient size to accommodate the ravening horde of fans.
Please don't judge us too harshly after you've seen Powell's in Portland.
Any possible way to stop off in MN? We're up in Canada, and I WOULD be willing to drive down!
Exciting!!! (Pssst, it's spelled calendar.) I'm sad you won't be in Michigan. Especially since I work at a bookstore.
COME TO KNOXVILLE,TN!!!!
Every time an author I love comes to "Chicago", they're at Old Orchard. That's not Chicago. And it's dang far from where I live. But I'll try.
Do these book-tour-organizing people have some kind of beef with downtown Chicago, which is easily accessible via public transit for millions of potential book purchasers? Or do they just know the people by Old Orchard have money?
Sigh.
You know what, though? You're awesome. And you're going on a book tour. For your book. So I should haul my rear across the metro area to see you, because I'm not organized enough to write a whole frickin' book, and I admire you.
What about Pittsburgh? I mean, we're cool enough to get the G20 here, after all.
~Jen :)
Boston Boston Boston!
If you're doing San Fran, and not LA, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO IT ON SUNDAY! I desperately want to come see you, but there's no way I can make it there on a weekday. PLEASE! Thanks. :)
Whuaaaa?! How can you do a US tour and not stop in Los Angeles?! LA man!!
;_; Otherwise, I won't be able to see u at all!! San Francisco is atleast a 7 hour drive away... too far for my poor car! >_<
The powers that be... *slap* You must right this wrong!
How hard is it to get to SOUTHERN California?
Please - you can DRIVE from San Francisco to L.A. in a day. No plan needed. So, pick a spot in Southern California, and let's get it going... 8)
while in chicago - why not take the 20 minute plane and stop in detroit the next day?
we'd love to see you here <3
i would love to meet you (:
and show off my crazy cupcake design.
we love you!
I'd love for you to come to Lexington, KY....or even Cincinnati, OH :) My friends and I would DEFINITELY be there (with cupcakes)!!!!!
How could San Francisco be picked over Los Angeles or San Diego? I'm in San Diego, but would consider driving to Los Angeles to see you . . .
Dammit, why did it have to be in Skokie?
(Does anyone know if there is a train station somewhere near the Chicago B&N?)
YOU MUST COME TO NASHVILLE!! I mean, Lauren Conrad & Miley Cyrus have both touted books at Davis Kidd here in Nashville, so why not YOU?!?
Pretty please?? :) :) :)
No Los Angeles? What are your handlers nuts? Do you people know how many Wreckers and potential Wreckers there are in the Southern California area? I'd even be cool with San Diego or somewhere in the OC (which we never call it, by the way). Please, please make a So Cal appearance? We'd love to meet you!
You should totally come to the Phoenix area. I mean, Arizona is right between California & Colorado... And I know of a few Wreckies here that would love to go!
come to atlanta please!!!
I'm in Germany, but I still pre-ordered my book (in May already).
Have a ton of fun with the tour! :)
Nina
Yippeee you'll be in Austin! Of course, it IS the SAME weekend as Austin City Limits, but lucky for you, bands I want to see don't start that day until 5, so I'll be there. Well, lucky for me, I suppose.
TENNESSEE!!!!!! How about Nashville or Memphis???? Sept. 18?
Bring it to Tucson!
Aww I was so excited but then I read the places you are touring. No Atlanta? That's ok though. You can't go every where.
I hope you have a lot of fun on your book tour. I'm looking forward to the book.
Looks like someone has beef with the southeast. Whats that all about?? {jumping up & down waving from Raleigh, NC}
Just because you are hating on the international scene doesn't mean you have to hate on Canada. Customs might be a pain but it's hardly a long ways away. Once you're in Seattle you're practically at Vancouver anyways.
I'd come to Seattle but I don't have a passport yet. I should really get on that but it's supposed to take ages for the paperwork to go through anyways. Stupid new border rules.
I counted 8 posts asking for a trip to Ohio! Soooo, here's the ninth... Somewhere in Cleveland if at all possible? Joseph Beth Booksellers in Legacy Village or perhaps Border's in La Place or Solon.... please please please try! I just graduated from Johnson and Wales with a degree in pastry arts and all I want to do is make wrecks! So, thanks for the inspiration... please come to Ohio!!!
Looove you and all you're doing!
Please consider a stop in Philadelphia, Jen! Congrats on the book tour - sounds exhausting, but fabulous!
We need Arizona added!!!
Philly Philly!!!! We're not as nasty as we seem!
Boston is a REALLY good place to go for readings/signings. They are very popular here. Please come!
Why not another stop in the mid-west. Come to Milwaukee!!! If not I will trrryyy to come to Chicago - are children welcome?
Seattle!! Seattle!! WOOHOO!! only half an hour away!!!! See you there!
Yeah! Tattered Cover! See you there.
Haha. I love funny word ver's (and I am easily amused): kater
no southeast?!! please come to nc!
You completely left off the southeast. I think that Memphis would be a prime spot.
I can't believe you aren't stopping in atlanta!
We do know how to read over here in Massachusetts. I think we have more bookstore than people. You should come to MA and we'll wreck up a cupcake good! Besides that, remember waaaay back I told you I had a dream about cake wrecks? that should be enough.
As many others have said you need to visit Boston. I know you aren't booking it but drop some hints.
Wow, that is a crazy, crazy schedule you've got there. You're going to TIRED. When you get to Austin, I'll take you out for a margarita and some chips/queso.
Boston!
Yep. You got peeps in Maine too, so better get a New England tour planned in the future!
Ann Arbor, MI! You can even take the TRAIN from Chicago! trains are wonderful!
Remember: THEY CAN'T GO EVERYWHERE. This isn't a major concert tour, lol!
Yeah..Atlanta or Charlotte deserves some wrecky cake love!!!
asheville, north carolina! call malaprops bookstore - they have all the cool book readings!
Come to Utah!!!
Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooo....! New England ALWAYS gets left out of the cool tours. If you come up here, O cake lady, you can see... er, .... well, rain, this year. But it's beautiful rain.
Hey, How about Tampa/St.Pete? And could you make it a weekend? Your Sexy Suds decorator really wants to meet you and have the book signed... Maybe I will even re-create my "masterpiece". Although how I will do that in cupcake size is yet to be determined...
Copperfield's in Petaluma? HOORAY! I will definitely be there!
Come to Greenville, SC!! :)

Woot! We're excited to see you the Mile High City :) :)

No PA stops like Philly or Harrisburg? Would love to see you nearby!
Please oh Please come to the Los Angeles area!!
You HAVE to come to Rochester NY, so we upstate Nyers can see you!
Sweet Sheezamageeza!!!
I was all excited when I read Powell's thinking "yeah, we can totally make it down there" and then I read Third Place Books, right up the street! :D you will have 2 very happy faces (no doubt more, but I can only account for 2 of us) in that crowd! Can't WAIT! :D
first off, my fiance is still after 5 minutes saying "one bon bon is poison" he wants one of those cakes! Second, what about us in the north east. New England loves you!
Hooray for the book! You should come to Minneapolis, though! The Mall of America is right by the airport, and if you have a layover in the Twin Cities, it's only logical to stop here. You could even invite Marjorie Johnson, the most winning-est baker in Minnesota State Fair history!

I'm going to try to come and see you in Seattle. Not that far from Spokane. :))
Aww, you'll be in TX during ACL music festival which means I am going to miss you. :(
ATLANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!
PORTLAND @ POWELL'S?? My dear, you. have. ARRIVED!!! I'll be there . . . and probably my entire family.
Love ya!
Akron, Ohio! Even Cleveland is acceptable!
I'm based in Tuscaloosa, AL, but would happily drive to Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville, or Atlanta if any of them get added to the list!
For the Seattle visit, I would really love to volunteer my bakery. www.CleverCakeStudio.com is the one that made the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom cake that you highlighted in a Sunday Sweet, so I'd love to thank you by providing a cake for the event! I will follow this up with an email.
