While the Faux-lo Kitty cake is a wreck, it is still cute (Which is totally possible, I know, I know!). But I think that's because of the diminutive button eyes and nose.

#3 A low-res rendition of a key part of a low-res game system. Now if someone would kindly explain the fake ivy -- no, real ivy would not make more sense.
#4 Those are *so* pancakes, especially with whatever is going on at the base. Why? (I wonder if anyone has ever tried deliberately to make a cake that looks like a stack of pancakes. A redundant food cake -- this must be done.)
#5 Subject: ugh. Realization in cupcakes: UGH! The cake board says 'Happy Birthday Laimy' That's a pretty 'laimy' cake, alright.
I made a Hello Kitty cake that was better than that. And I am no good at making cakes.
@Kelli, it does appear that the 'finished' side of the cake board is down on the 'Hell-o Kitty' CCC (Spooy Patooie!). That makes it even more bogus.
The Drama Queen cake made me laugh out loud..the irony inherent in this interpretation is beyond belief..

Hello Kitty....the cake board does appear to be upside down and Kitty seems to be suffering from Cat Scratch Fever. What? The decorators ran out of black icing after they outlined the head and gave it eyes, they had to carve whiskers instead?
I thought Kitty was sticking it's tongue out, but now I realize that's a candle.

That Nintendo cake was my husband's groom's cake. Here is the story... We did not want the cake like that. We brought the lady the controller so she knew what it looked like. We wanted the whole cake to be the controller. She didnt get it and I guess she thought we wanted the controller on the cake. In answer to someone's question, the cake is from 2007. My husband is a gamer and our idea was great. She just didnt make it how we wanted. She came free with the place we got married, so who is to really complain?
Please make sure you do a couple of animal-oriented charities! They need our help too, and animals are often overlooked because they have no voice.

Wow, the irony didn't hit me until you mentioned it. Plus we don't have Cracker Barrels here in good Ol WA so it didn't fully sink in. Neither did the Hello....Crappy until I thought about how Crappy would be inappropriate. Then I laughed and farted at the same time.

To be fair, if you look from the ritz crackers to the cake and back, they do look very much the same. And they also look like pancakes. :) Mmmm, pancakes...

Doctors Without Borders is *awesome*. They go in to provide medical care where even the Red Cross is nervous about going.

When I first saw that Hello Kitty one, I only saw the top of it and thought it was a Snoopy cake!
I had to re-enter my info to donate again. am i missing something on the donation website that will somehow save my info so i don't have to enter it again every time? because i might as well just go to the homepage of the charity and save them the processing fee if i'm going to have to enter it again each time. just fyi cause i know you tried to make it easier this year:)
