When I saw this cake the song "Rocketman" started playing in my head. (Yes, my brain runs a constant soundtrack.) Then I noticed the add to the left of the wreck was for an upcoming Elton John concert. Weird coincidence. (Yes, I said "upcoming". Get your mind out of the gutter!)

One has to wonder what kind of job that baker thinks Rochelle is doing, that she gets not one but THREE giant phallic symbols on her cake! And a well... splattered?!... full set of equipment on top. Unless... someone is very happy to see her each morning. o.O
But at least today's cake wasn't flesh-coloured, unlike the last women-in-space one. (Oh, I had forgotten that gem)
Oh, so many possibilities, humor synapses in overload -- ... countdown ... 10 years of??? ... "we have liftoff" ... "KY, or, Frosting? mmmm" ... "to the MOON, sweetheart" ... Rev W w.v.comon: speling errirs ar comon on cake wrekcs
I love the witty, sly, verbal puns refering to penii on Cakewrecks; but sometimes, I really like it when you just call 'em like you see 'em, too. Thanks for the chortle--I nearly spit my ice cappaccino all over my keyboard!
I'll admit it, my comment today has absolutely nothing to do with the creepy cake today. It is a protest. I will admit it, I am a fan of Wilton on Facebook. Sadly their featured cake/technique today was a baby butt covered with a blanket. They said that it is a trend among baby shower cakes. This "trend" MUST be stopped!!!
Lmao that just made me want to scream out loud with laughter but alas it would scare my hubby who is playing Halo: Reach at the moment lol. Oh man I didn't realize how phallic that shuttle looks..scary.
Cake Wrecks has made me realize just how phallic the space shuttle really is. I never thought about it until Women in Space.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's the most interesting castle-dong-shuttle I've ever seen. I can honestly say that.

I otlim be going now.
It's diseased. And so much fail...
ReplyDeleteI really wish I knew what the wreckerator thought when they stepped back and looked at this one.
If I were Rochelle, I wouldn't go near that thing until it had a shower and a 10-day course of antibiotics.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else having flash-backs to Disney's "The Little Mermaid" VHS cover?
ReplyDelete(yes, i did just date myself :P )
Now THAT'S a rocket! Zing!
ReplyDelete(Is that '70s-era funked-out porn guitar I hear in the distance? Wakka-wow, Wakka-wow-wow...)
The bakers of today really need to take their minds out of the gutter. Every other cake resembles poop or unmentionable body parts.

ReplyDeleteHmmm..astro...NOT! Though this may explain the inspiration for Jerry Lee Lewis's hit "Great Balls of Fire."

Castles are pretty phallic, too. All those, erm, spires.
ReplyDeleteI could make a comment here about that being why girls love them, but that would be kind of ... eeeewwwwwww.

I have to agree with Fluffy Cow... really, what did they think???
ReplyDeleteAll the wonderful discoveries, and that is how they remember it-sad :(
ReplyDeleteThe black fuzzy (furry?) stuff adds a nice accent to the work.
ReplyDeleteAt least the chocolate chip cookie looks yummy....
The image on that cookie "cake" looks like the setting for the inevitable "Harry Potter" porno spoof... O_o
ReplyDeleteWow, I just happened to be wearing my NASA t-shirt today, perfect for the giant dong rocket you're featuring. NASA = Not Another Sexual Astronaut (?)
ReplyDeleteSky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight...
ReplyDeleteRochelle - On your achievement, a Dong Mahal.
ReplyDelete(OMG, I just realized it says Great Job. :x)
Is it just me but the brown blob on the left of the dong/rocket looks like a mini godzilla?
ReplyDeletewv: preogi
That's the prefect preogi cake.

You should do an encore posting of the shuttle cake celebrating the women of NASA
ReplyDeletehmmm...brings an entirely new definition to the word 'shuttlecock'
