Yesterday Was Thursday

It's Friday, Friday, Friday!!!

Are we we we so excited?

YES.

Because it's not just ANY Friday...

[dum dum DUMMM]

...it's Friday the 13th, lollipops.

Er...I mean, suckers. Yeah.

So beware...

AAIIIEEEEE!!!

...because today, your baked goods just might try to KILL YOU:

More than usual, I mean.

"I don't remember any legs, but it definitely had arms, because it reached out for me!"

"And then...then it started free-handing flowers with the star tip!!"

AAAAIIIEEEE!!!

Thanks to Joy F., Diess, Ashley W., Rebecca R., & Kimberly C., who think this calls for another visit to...[dum dum DUMMM] Hell's Bakery:

"Enjoy!"

Oh, and remember: tomorrow is Saturday.

And Sunday comes afterward.

  1. I was getting anxious when I didn't have a Cakewrecks post by 10am (and thus a morning procrastination vehicle). Now I see why it was delayed--the SUSPENSE! I may have nightmares from Hell's Bakery!

  2. Very good!!! Scary, spooky, and, as always...funny!!!
I see no other comments yet today, so I'm assuming you know there's a problem with the site? I hope I'm not repeating what 1,639 people have already said!!!! But no other comments are showing, so...
There's something wrong with the site. Thursday's post has disappeared completely, and Friday's has only just appeared, 5 hours late!! Ah...Friday the 13th,
    be prepared for anything. AAIIEEEE!!!

Don't ya just love any chance to use Ghostbuster's quotes?!
By the way that 2nd cake kinda looks like it needed a tampon... just sayin'.

  9. Hell's Bakery. That's in Hell's Kitchen, right?

Number One, I love your videos. Even covered in blood, they are beautiful, no matter what you say.

    Happy Friday the 13th.

WV = talli. If you're keeping a talli, I caught the Ghostbuster's reference.

  10. Friday the 13th hits Cake Wrecks. I'm glad you're finally back! But who ate yesterday's post?

wv: vilyro - a villian in the Bakery From Hell that it's hard to take seriously. "Oh vilyro, I'm over heeeeere."

  11. Hahaha...palm tree hands of terror!

Is it spooky that i just watched "Hell's Bakery" last night?

Thanks again for the laughs, Jen, Jon and team.

  12. Can't sleep, the clowns will get me. Can't sleep ...

Whew. For a moment there, I thought you had dropped off. (Bad, Freddy. Back into the oven you go.)

  14. Now I'm imagining a trailer for a horror movie about evil pastry.

    "This time, the baked goods...

*random half-second extreme closeup of someone screaming*

    ...are BAKED EVILS."

    I think it's next door.

  16. So when is Hell's Bakery going to be made into a full-length feature film? Because I will definitely be first in line for tickets. Also, I woke up with that song in my head this morning. I would like to thank Rebecca for her "original," "tuneful," and "informative" song. Who knew the days of the weekend could be so hard to remember?

wv-deverous: I sincerely hope that we destroy all bakery sweets before they deverous.

  17. That cake full of blood is wicked! lol, though maybe something a bit deeper then just a square cake base =p

  18. Hey everybody, Blogger had a meltdown - or several mini meltdowns - over the last 24 hours, so many blogs are missing posts, comments, etc. Blog owners couldn't even log into their accounts to post something explaining what was happening, so...yeah. They slowly seem to be coming back up.

  19. OMG, that was too funny. I love that video. Niiiiiice putting in the parts from Labyrinth.

  20. I almost didn't want to get out of bed this morning because of the day. Can you imagine if this was your birthday? And these were one of your cakes? I would change my birthday!

  24. Yay, another hilarious Cake Wrecks video! Great voice-overs =). Thanks for sharing.

  25. It is such a good day to bring that song up! Your a genius!

  26. Love the cover art on the cake decorating book! Of all the things I've see here, a cake carving itself has got to be the creepiest. I want it!
I would love to see the inside, but I'm sure there's copyright issues with posting those picks.

    WV: qikerto
In cake decorating, it's qikerto just slap something on there than to learn the proper technique.

  27. I. This one really gave me paws.

II. "Hmm... I've been waiting for twenty minutes and no one has come to the counter. Oh well, I'm sure they're just on break or something. My, what a strange cake."

III. Buy a cake, save a buck.

IV. I don't know which is creepier, the image or the concept of frosted caramel fudge. "It's just not sweet enough yet! I must keep trying! Moohahahahaha!"

Ya think Hell's Bakery is scary now? Just wait 'til they fire up the deep fryer. Heh. Heh heh.

By the way, something was wrong with the site yesterday. Just thought you should know.

wv: repties. "Get the 'l' out of those reptiles, man -- they look hungry!"

  29. Seeing the new trailer reminded me to go look at the old one, last night. Little did I know I was giving myself a preview of today!

The self-decorating cake on the book cover is the stuff of nightmares.

And that's one bloody fine cake in the second slot.

Hey, Donna, what would iMom say about the temporarily disappearing post (and still-missing comments)?

"If you want nice things, you have to take care of them," perhaps?

    :-)

    wv-impay

I've ordered my book, now I'm impay-tient for October to come!

  31. The only thing that could've made that Bakery from Hell even better would have been if you could've had Sandra Lee's Kwanzaa Cake footage included. Otherwise, that was PRICELESS, priceless, I say!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Love all the Rebecca Black references! Ha ha ha ha!

    ReplyDelete
  33. What I want to know, is why is Satan's Bambi crouched amongst a cluster of naughty tentacles?

    On second thought, maybe I don't... O_o

    ReplyDelete
  34. For my next birthday, I want a cake with a creepy deer staring at me from a forest of octopus tentacles.

    ReplyDelete
  35. That first cake made me laugh so hard I scared the cat. I would be nothing but ashamed if I worked in the bakery that produced that....THING....

  36. @Bryna said, "The only thing that could've made that Bakery from Hell even better would have been if you could've had Sandra Lee's Kwanzaa Cake footage included."

But that would be redundant. Besides, it wouldn't be fair to include the Kwanzaa cake and ignore all the other nightmares.

If Barbara Anne slams the Bunker door and there's no EPCOT underway, will anyone hear it?

  37. And as we all know, Thursday is Little Friday.

  38. My grandmother was born in 1913, and today is her 98th birthday. I turned 13 on a Friday the 13th, so the two of us scoff at the superstition. Scoff, I say!!! ...but really quietly, just in case the day finds out and gets us. ;-)

Great, now I have that song stuck in my head. I need to go watch the Steven Colbert/Jimmy Fallon version, or Conan O'Brien's parody "Thursday" to banish the memory of the original.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Have you been listening to that horrid, I mean "wonderful" (bunnies that make things not true!) Rebecca Black song?

    ReplyDelete
  40. The horror the absolute horror... D:

    ReplyDelete
  41. I for one had a crappy Friday the 13th...and these cake wrecks reflect the whole spirit of it. Still, I'll take one of these cakewrecks as a consolation, no questions asked and comments deferred.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh come on, Jen, I just got that song out of my head!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I am still coming to terms with that blood splotched birthday cake lol. Who, other than a serial killer, would want that for their cake?? And cannot stop watching Hell's Bakery. I won't be shocked if someday there really is a film made..

  47. Good to see Blogger's back up and running!

So THAT's what Deer Hunter is about. Huh. I didn't know it was a horror movie. Or that the deer was the hunter.

WV: Conizati. Don't cross the Conizati family; their deer will have you sleeping with the fishes.
